I gotta tell ya: I never saw a real, serious snow storm, so when everyone was talking about a tempête de neige coming our way, I was excited out of my shorts.
Everyone was talking about it: "Ooooh, big snow coming…" and when you hear your colleagues, your boyfriend, people on the radio talking like that it’s only natural you get somewhat excited. Had it been possible I would have put a chair outside the livingroom window, brought a bag of popcorn and watched the wind howling and bringing up whirlpools of snow.
So last Friday I was at the edge of my seat, waiting for the forces of nature to break loose. And what did I get? No wind what so ever, no 2ft of snow, only a few snowflakes and that was it!
Where’s the fun in that?
