1. Joaquim Phoenix and Reese Witherspoon sound better than Johnny Cash and June Carter, especially when singing “Jackson”

2. What happened to New Orleans during Katrina is much like what happened to Pompeii during the Vesuvius eruption. We actually witnessed a city being wiped-out from the face of the earth.

I only wish I could have seen the Big Easy before it was gone.
