Light painting

Hey guys!

I hope you’re having a nice Friday, you from the Old Continent. My Friday is just beginning and I have a lot of work to do at the lab.

Blog-wise, I am working at a longer post which I shall probably finish tomorrow.

In the meantime here are the results of an photographic experiment from last evening. D had the idea of course. I was skeptical at first, of course, but when I saw the first photo I literally screamed “Hunny, you are a genius!”.

So here’s what’s happening: you set your camera to take a long-exposure picture (10”-20”). The subject (me) has to stand still in a dark room. The guy with a flashlight (D) moves the light source around the subject during the 10”-20”.

Here are the results:

This is me “Egyptian style”

Then we just wrote/drew random stuff with the flashlight in the air.

This was done by me. It was supposed to say I heart U. But I got distracted and forgot to reverse the letters. It’s funnier like this I find.

This was D’s drawing. He boosted the color a bit on the eyes and mouth to make them blue/red.

Oh, the fun we had!
