If distance>sqrt(area under the fashion curve) it’s OK

Me: Why did you put on striped pants and a striped shirt? Don’t you know better?

D: I was wearing a sweater over the shirt. You could only see the collar of the shirt.

Me: Still, I don’t think a striped collar looks good with striped pants!

D: No, honey, it’s OK. The two striped patterns are separated by a big distance.

[The outfit looked quite nice, I must admit]

Whether or not they did something along your D’s line on HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER. I’ve been racking my brains but I cannot for the life of me remember. I know, I know, drama queen. :D

The Alzheimer’s bit, I mean, with regards to… well, people who actually suffer from the disease.

Did they do it, really??? Hmmm… I thought it was familiar, but I have to be honest with you, I don’t remember it… Must be my Alzheimer’s acting up again. :P Okay, okay, that wasn’t very nice…

I think big stripes & little stripes together are okay too. And like the logic of anyone trying to justify 2 kinds of stripes :)

You do of course realise D’s line “No, honey, it’s OK. The two striped patterns are separated by a big distance.” is FRIENDS or at least HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER worthy! Come to think of it, I could have said that too. :D Way to go, D!!!

P.S. Miss you like crazy, pookie!!!
