[Pam, Jim and Michael are planning a party to celebrate Michael’s 15 years at Dunder Mifflin.]
Pam: And then out of that cake pops another stripper holding a smaller cake and then an even smaller stripper pops out of that one.
Michael: What is that smaller stripper holding?
Pam: A cupcake! It’s cupcakes and strippers all the way down.
This conversation woke up my cupcake cravings. Alas there aren’t many cupcake stores in Montreal. There’s one on Mont Royal street, called Petits Gateaux. It’s quite far from our house. So on Saturday afternoon I asked D to please, please come with me to buy some. Do you think he did? No. Do you know why? Because he hates walking, he tells me. Arrrgh!
So on Sunday I decided to take things on my own hands and go to the cupcake place by myself.
I didn’t look on the map before I left and I ended up walking in the wrong direction on Mont Royal st. for about 7 minutes, wondering why the shop wasn’t in sight.
So I turned around, walked another 15 minutes and I finally saw the little boutique. It’s so small, you can easily miss it. But it’s so cute!
You can have your cupcakes there or to go, and they put them in these nice pink boxes.
I bought 2: a coffee-favored one and a banana&sugar one.
The lump on the top is sugar&condensed milk as far as I can tell, and it’s soooo good!
Right now I bet I know what you’re thinking: never mind the cupcakes… Where are the strippers?
