Chic Sundays – what make-up can do

I think most of us girls have experimented with make-up and there was at least one time when we put so much on our faces that we looked waaay over our age. I guess it’s part of the growing-up process and is fuelled by all the hormones of the adolescence. It’s almost a fact that when we reach the age of 20 the make-up becomes more discreet, more natural and sometimes inexistent.

Here’s a series of shots that appeared in Vogue Paris in November 2008, featuring the same model. This is to show not only the power of a good photographer but also the power of all the stuff we paint on our faces.

Model: Eniko Mihalik, make-up by Lisa Butler.

  • I’ve already seen those photo some time ago, but I completly forgot them. Thank you for reminding me. It’s a marvellous work there… and of course, I wish I’d look so good at 60 years.

  • I’d go for the 20 year old, myself. 😀
Although the 30-40-50 yo versions also look pretty good.

  • Uhm, cred ca acum am inteles care-i faza. Credeam ca pozele au fost facute in timp.
Cati ani are modelul? 12-13, banuiesc? :-s

  • — @ Catalin: Nope, pozele sunt facute la aceeasi varsta a modelului.
Tipa e nascuta in ’88. Uite aici:
E adevarat ca influenteaza si postura, felul in care stai (de ex in poza de la 10 ani, faptul ca sta cu capul pe spate ajuta la crearea imaginii de “tanar”.

  • Da, e ciudata rau poza aia. Brrrr. :-s
