The aim of this post is to let you know that I think Patrick Stewart is a VERY sexy man.
That’s it. Thanks for hearing me out.
The end.
Just kidding. My rants are never that short.
Seriously. Isn’t Cpt. Picard sexy?

So far people’s reactions to this statement ranged from “Seriously? All bald and stuff?” to “Meh. Whatever” which makes me wonder: how can any girl resist that charming British accent, that deep voice and the way he says “Make it so!”. How? Tell me how? And those hands, how sexy are those hands?
Some ladies would say Harrison Ford, or Mr. Sean, Shaken Not Stirred, Connery, or Al Pacino are the some fine specimens of sexy men over 50, but I’m sticking with Jean-Luc. And to tell you the truth I don’t think he would have had the same impact if he wasn’t bald. This is to prove that avoir du charme is much more than looking like an Abercrombie & Fitch model. It brings to mind my grandmother’s words: “For a man to be liked by a woman he needs to be just a tad more handsome than the devil. Mais il faut qu’il ait du charme*”.
In this interview of Patrick Stewart the inevitable baldness topic came up. He mentioned that at the 1st press conference about Star Trek a reporter told Gene Roddenberry (the producer of Star Trek): “Look, it doesn’t make any sense… You’ve got this bald actor playing the main part. Surely, by the 24th century they would have found a cure for male pattern baldness”.
And Gene Rodenberry said “No, by the 24th century no one will care”. I think we’re getting there sooner than he might have thought![]()
What do you think about Cpt. Picard, girls?
Were you fans of Star Trek The Next Generation?
What non-physical feature do you most like in a guy?
What do you think is your most charming trait, guys?
* But he needs to have charm.
The title of the post is a reference to this episode of Star Trek when the inhabitants of a planet think that Picard is their god.
