Chic Sundays: vintage silk top

Ahoy there!

I hope you guys are having a great weekend. D and I are going out today because it’s super, extremely, over-the-top gorgeous outside. So sunny and warm. As I’ve said before, I love global warming! I kid, I kid, of course. I care more about the baby seals than the possibility of a walk around the McGill Ghetto.

Anyway, I thought I’d show you one of my favorite tops which belonged to my Mom and was passed down to me.

It’s so delicate, I’m almost afraid to wear it. I love the lively colors and the fact that it goes with almost anything – pants, skirts, shorts…

… and of course I love that it also goes with my yellow flower hair pin:)

Do you wear hand-me-downs from your Moms/Grandmas?

That first picture is just perfect in terms of composition, lighting, and colours.

Oops, I forgot to say… I am not the same size as my grandmother and mother. I would wear hand me downs and I do wear hand me down jewelry and accessories, but as for clothes, I just don’t fit their clothes!

Wow it looks like an absolutely gorgeous day! And speaking of gorgeous things… YOU are gorgeous! That top is pretty cute, too!
