Tidbits

I am super busy processing photos from last weekend’s photo sessions, and between that and real life work I can’t seem to find the time to write a proper post. So here are two tidbits of information I found out just recently.

1. We don’t have any pain sensors in any part of the brain. Bluntly put you can stick a knife in someone’s brain and they wouldn’t feel a thing. They would possibly lose sight, their memory or think they smell popcorn but they would not feel a thing.

2. If you’re like me and the smell of raw onion seems to bring out all the water in your body through your eyes, then this is going to make your day – or at least those days you’re actually chopping onions. If you keep a piece of bread in your mouth, like so, your eyes won’t tear up. I’ve tried it and it really works!

I’m right there with you. I’ve been so busy it’s all I can do to keep up with anything remotely having to do with the blog. Just wrote a post before hitting the road today. I’m currently in the car with a friend driving and I’m catching up on the blogosphere.

1. Of course they might also die, but you know, they wouldn’t feel it. :)
2. I’ve never heard this before, but I’m interested in the science of it.

Good luck with the photos, your ‘subjects’ are very cute in their film :)
