Link Love Fridays

What are you guys doing this weekend? I am home alone – D and his sister have gone whale-watching but I decided to stay at home, process some pictures and take multiple naps. Here are some links I found. Hope you like them!

Smart celebrities. I knew Sharon Stone had a high IQ but had no idea about the others. And oh! Everybody needs to relax about Bradley Cooper’s French. It’s not that good and it’s not that big of a deal.

Gandhi’s Top 10 Fundamentals for Changing the World poster. Yes!

Recreating Mills & Boon romance book covers. Their outfits are just perfect!

60 ways to make life simple again.

Beautiful photographs always awaken the travel bug, don’t they?

Love these stories & pictures of NYC. It truly is the world’s greatest city!

A Post-It note travels the world to find its father. Awesome!

Breakfast interrupted. Magical!

In case you’re not following our wedding photoblog (if you’re not, No soup for you!) check out this video my talented husband shot. Ashlee&Noam are absolutely adorable and downright hilarious!

  • Kate Beckinsale actually never finished at Oxford (Hugh Grant was also there). Stephen Fry, Emma Thompson, and Hugh Laurie all come from Cambridge. The thing about celebrities—and there’s a similar phenomenon for Susan Boyle-esque ‘ugly’ people, is that we seem to get amazed when we find out some of them can do other things. Of course, thousands of attractive, successive, multi-faceted and multi-talented people graduate from Ivy-League (or similar) schools every year…but they seem so less impressive (and of course, are not mentioned).

It’s like the Susan Boyle Phenomenon: What? You’re telling me that she’s ugly and she can sing? Get out!!

  • I will have to check out the celeb IQs. I think I will be upset if I’m a lot less intelligent than many of them.
