A walk through the Garden District

I still have quite a few photos to share from our trip to New Orleans last year (can’t believe it’s already been a year!), so here are a few from the Garden District.

I loved walking through the lush greenery; those twisted, knotty oaks are a dream, and I find they add to the gothic, spooky vibe of the area. I must have taken dozens of photos of that old style streetcar – I just couldn’t help myself, it’s so photogenic and blending in perfectly with the location.

Also, can you spot Tuttle’s house from True Detective?

  • I went to New Orleans a few years ago. It was Halloween at the time. I really think New Orleans is the best place to spend Halloween.

  • Trolley cars! I didn’t expect New Orleans to have those.
