Spring in New York

Is there any season when this city is not photogenic?(*) Below is a selection of images taken mainly in the Greenwich Village and Washington Sq. Park during peak tree blossom season. Those magnolias are absolute poetry. I hope they brighten up your day!

(*) Well, maybe summer, when you can’t decide what’s worse: the fumes emanating from the hot piles of garbage amassed on the sidewalks or the sweltering heat you can feel rising from the asphalt.
